Photo marathon

Tomorrow’s lessons are all canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. Hahaha! Ok, only one module is due to unforeseen circumstance whereby our lecturer is on MC! Whoot! The other module is because our lecturer is attending some course or whatsoever. Don’t you think it’s great? Hehehe, I mean, great for me! :D

Anyhow, I’ve changed my blogskin and layout. Although SX said it doesn’t suit me, but I still find it quite nice. I’ve edited some of the things and they are all using PHP! OMG! Nightmare! Dreamweaver gives nightmare! BAD DREAMS! Hahahah whatever!

Hello!

After 435787630985443 years we finally took photo together again. Gosh. Anyway, I’m taking way long to update this entry. I get distracted so easily that I’m doing many different things and concentrating at none. ==”

I can update my blog, surf the net, drown in PHP, twitting, chatting and so on. Blah.

Frankly, I’ve caught quite a number of movies recently and when I thought about it, I think in 1 month or so, I caught more than 4 to 5 movies which I lost count. Movie like Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen I caught it twice.

Well, it was kinda a disappointment actually. Although it’s a little too late to make the review, but still, I just want to share how I felt about this movie. Hehe.

I mean, I watched it twice so I actually realized the flaws in it on the second time. For those who watched only one time, I guess you wouldn’t be able to really see the flaws in it because just watch and didn’t know what will happen next. Besides, I’ve read reviews online and thus able to understand how those people felt when they watched it.

First, everything is too ‘closed-up’ as in their shots and the different scenes. If you have noticed, everything seem to be in ‘close-up’ and made the screen so tight for all the characters and details. After watching the film for long, I start to become giddy with the different scenes because everything is just too close for me.

Here is an example that I found on the net.

Second, too many robots are coming into action and at times, I couldn’t differentiate which are the autobots and which are the decepticons. They just put them into the scenes without introducing them or at least have a better indication on which side they are in.

Thirdly, the storyline is too draggy. Two and a half hours is way too long I guess. I mean, things have been dragging and unnecessary scenes came into the picture. Things like delivering the Key to revive Optimus Prime just seem sooooooooo long. The journey and things happening to Sam seem never ending throughout. I guess Michael Bay can shorten the duration and include better fighting scenes instead.

Fouth, the robot girl doesn’t seem to exist in the cartoon version of Transformers. So I guess, it kinda spoiled the whole thing and removed the originality of how Transformers was supposed to be. I guess this is a small issue but yea, just something noticed and was told by my friend.

I guess 4 points are enough to make the conclusion on how disappointing it is. But nevertheless, I think it’s still quite a successful movie because 3D modeling and animating isn’t easy. Moreover, they’ve got to integrate and synchronize both animations and real life actions together made it even tougher for the production to be successful.

Ok, all these are just my personal opinions. Heh and I’m hungry now. Bah.

Ion

In case you people don’t know, ION Orchard is now open and I’ve yet to visit it. Hmm, heard that it’s really big and consist of many stories and different brands that wasn’t seen in Singapore. Anyway, if you look carefully at the picture, there’s this fountain kinda thing there. I tell you, that thing is really stupid. The other day I walked past that thing which was still under test, it doesn’t have any structure to trap the flowing water. As in, fountains like that tend to have the water being sprayed outside, and you are supposed to have an enclosed area to trap all the water, but they don’t have. In the end, all the water are slowing down the walking path. I don’t know now that they are officially opened, will they still have that problem or it’s solved. =\

Another shopping centre that I want to visit is the Orchard Central.

Seem cool but the other day when I walked past, I think there are problem with the lightings and it looked so, erm, I don’t know how to describe. Hahaha! There are so many shopping centres opening in Orchard! I think that place is going to get overcrowded by human beings and some of the disgusting ones. =\ I’m not sure when is the official launch but I read that they will have fireworks and stuff. Hmmm. Shall check it out. (:

It has been a long long time since I last wrote such a long entry. I guess I should stop here and save the rest of what I want to say to the other days or entries. I think I shall stop here. I’m trying to revamp my blog and thus, I will improve on my blogging and update more often because I realized, I used to blog pretty often in the past with interesting contents. But apparently, recently I’m not doing that. I don’t know the reason but I think one of it is because I’m leading a boring life? I don’t know. Or I’m just plain lazy to do the updating. ==”

Smile!

Last but not least, everyone smile! :D

Hehehehe
