I am back from Loola Adventure Resort Bintan. So is my laptop, back from Fujitsu Service Centre Singapore. Laugh out loud. 
I survived without any computer or laptop for almost a week if I don’t get it back by tomorrow.
Well, it was fun there together with those entertaining guys in my group. We stayed in the same hut and had lots of craps and fun together. Though it was just a mere 4 days 3 nights trip, I guess we got to know quite a lot about each other. I’m really glad that I actually went for this trip though it rained for like 2 out of the 3 days that we supposed to do shooting, but this gave us an experience on how to do bad weather shooting.
First day.
On the first day, we departed from Tanan Merah Ferry Terminal heading towards Bintan. Or rather, Tanjung Pinang. Even before we departed, it was already raining in Singapore island. After the 2 hours boat ride, we finally reached Tanjung Pinang, Bintan. And it is still raining. Lol.
After we reached Tanjung Pinang, we took another hour bus ride from the ferry terminal to this deserted place called Loola Adventure Resort which is located next to the sea. It was still raining when we arrived at the resort and we couldn’t do anything much until the rain subsided.
By the time it subsided, it was low tide and we could see that the sea almost dried up and we can actually walk on the seabed.

Photo below was taken at some mangrove on another island that we walked to. Can you imagine? The tide is so low that we can actually walk from island to island. Hah!
We had a hard time walking on such sinking sands and our slippers/sandles/shoes kept getting sucked by the sand along the way and we could fall anytime. But still, it was fun and a new thrilling experience to walk in the middle of the sea. You might not know when it will suddenly just have a rise in tide and have a tsunami out of nowhere and have you washed off. That’s all for the first day. Sounds boring yea? But well, it’s still alright as at least we still did some photography.
But it was really terrible at night because it’s freezing! The wind kept blowing and it can be compared to some air conditioner. The night was peaceful and my room mates were great!
Second day.
On the second day, we headed to some fish village and took photo of the villagers’ lifestyle. I think I might fail as a journal photographer because I’m kinda shy in communicating with people of different language. I guess even if it’s the same language I might not dare to approach them which I don’t know why. I have no problem articulating and communicating with people whom I don’t know but it’s when I’m kinda teaching or giving presentation. But I just don’t know why there’s this barrier in me, stopping me from talking to other strangers. Blah.

Above is my favorite shot out of the few that I edited and uploaded. I will still be editing more photos and get them uploaded as well. There are still other photos that I took but I’m not really satisfied by them. I will still have them uploaded soon though. (:
After that, we went back to our resort to have our lunch and changed into wet program attire. We are going to do “boom netting” I think. I forgotten what’s the name called. Oh man! Speaking of that, I forgot to get the photos from the juniors that was taken went we did that activity. Shall grab from them soon.
Anyway, that was done after we went to another island. We took a boat to some faraway island from Bintan to another island which I don’t know what’s the name called. It’s another village and we took photos there again.

Day Three
It’s supposed to be a day where we have fun kayaking and at the same time doing trekking around the island and taking photographs. But the weather was bad that we are unable to do both of it! Sigh. What a disappointment. In the end we did some sort of studio shoot where we got things set up and took photographs of caterpillar and snake that was found by the staff there. Speaking of them, they are really nice people. Really took care of us and helped us a lot!

for the whole afternoon, we did photo editing but I didn’t do because I woke up in the middle of the night to have them done and it’s like, I didn’t even have my laptop with me which made me felt uncomfortable using other people’s laptop to do editing because I’m not used to their device. I have had grew feelings for my personal lappy. Hah!
Well, I guess that’s all for the Bintan trip because on the fourth day, we went to do some shopping in a shopping centre where I bought nothing but food. I bought quite a lot of food because I felt really uneasy not buying anything when I go overseas. Other than food, I seriously don’t know what to get.
I guess that’s all I have for you guys. And I love my room mate which I forgot to mention. They really brought a lot of joy and laughter to the trip. We are the most nosiest group during this trip and the most sociable one I guess? Our nights filled with laughter or rather, throughout the whole trip, we really laughed a lot and had great moments. We are called the fart boys! Haha. Some internal joke. (:
