FOP

Freshman Orientation Programme. ==”

Took leave on yesterday, today and Thursday specially for this thanks to Raymond. Well, it’s quite boring I can say. Yesterday was some briefing from the directors and principal of Singapore Polytechnic. The students this year is so fortunate as they get to see the principal face to face. For my batch and those before mine, we are only able to see the principal but on video. He will pre-record the speech he prepared and play it during the orientation briefing. This year is different because we’ve got a new principal and for him, he is someone who would rather attend the briefing himself than to record a video. Because he would like to socialize with the students like what he told us the other time during the tea time with him regarding our OOPS magazine.

Blahbler blahbler about all these. Still got to go back school on Thursday to help out with the Flag Day fund raising stuff but I intend to skip it. See how it goes then.

Anyway, this year’s students seem to be hmmm. I don’t know how to describe but I think it’s quite alright. Saw this girl with kinda strong makeup and was a little shocked but obviously I didn’t show the shocked expression. Blahbler.

The whole thing ended pretty early. Should have hold all of them back and have a ice breaker activity. Yada yada. Kinda apologetic that I made whole SPICE lesson kinda boring. But can’t help it because the slides are all boring slides too. The students were all like dead fishes. Sigh and wasn’t able to get them be lively. Sigh.

There’s this girl from the class who gave me the deepest impression because she speaks quite loud and wanted to announce her contact number to almost everyone. Laughed at her. But well, at least she’s the enthusiastic one because she went for the camp. Hah. Whatever it is, hope they will enjoy themselves for the Flag Day and the poly life to come.
