Rotted.

Today I’ve rotted at home! Nothing to do at all! Except for Granado Espada. It’s a pretty nice game as it allows us to ‘bot’ in the sense that we can just let them fight on their own while we watching them. Unless there are strong enemies where we need to escape from or to use special skills, we just enjoy watching them fight the monsters! haha.

Anyway, Fendi just requested me to remove his ‘look like beast photo’. Lol. from my tagboard you can see for yourself that he mentioned his own photo as beast and not me. haha. So I’m innocent. ^^

While I’m bored, I tend to think of many things or even daydream. Today, I thought back about what happened last year while I’m still in secondary school. I’ve realized I loved them more compared to my current Poly life. Last year there were many events which took place. The Xiamen trip which made us even more bonded, teachers’ day celebration where we performed on the stage for the last time in CCHY. Not forgetting the Prom Night which made us realized how unsupportive our school were and also the potential of our schoolmates in organizing events. Lastly, the Genting trip with langston, emma and serene. There are many more other events which gave me all the happiness during my secondary school life and all these are the past.

However, I still wish to go back to all these times where I’m less stressful as compared to my life now. Besides being stressed, I felt even more lonely and bored whereas my holiday during secondary school life will be filled with activities. Now my holiday seem to be days for me to rot at home. How I wish and pray that I can go back to Xiamen, Genting, CCHY and also the different countries that I’ve visited. These places let me felt so relaxed and without stress. I can just enjoy myself, make myself happy without thinking much of what is going to happen.

The Prom Night. More photos coming up.

Campus Superstar?

Alright, yesterday I ended off that I will mention some things about those stars stars programs today and as promised, I’m here to blog about them.

Personally, I feel that it’s not really practical to have those things in Singapore and it’s kinda waste of time and money i can say. Well, let me explain why is this so.

Firstly, what do the people get besides a moment of fame? Ok, let’s say one of them won the competition and got the fame and reward after the whole program. They also get to sign a contract with the company or whatsoever to have their personal album, to be able to film some dramas shown on Mediacorp TV and Blah blah. These are all just temporary if you realized as they don’t last long in the entertainment industry.

Yes, you may see them around on televisions and music stores around Singapore after they have won the competition. In the later part, they will eventually go ‘missing in action’ (MIA) where you don’t really see their existence anymore. We will seldom see them in the entertainment industry anymore neither are there news of them on what they are doing or what glory they brought upon to Singapore. Thus, what is the point of having such a program where we waste lots of money on them and eventually they just disappear without us noticing. Every single of such competition requires phone voting and stuff like this while the public are the ones doing the voting and putting their money for the competitors where instead of them getting the rewards, the competitors gain the fame , glory and rewards. How unfair.

If you were to think about the future of these people, do you think they can go further in this career? Think about their age, think about their studies. Even Project superstar and Singapore Idol have competitors that are of a young age and they eventually turn to continue or further their studies instead of continuing the job that is given by the entertainment company. This is the reason why the voters’ money and efforts all gone to waste. On the other hand, the winners are smart enough to ‘Run’ away with the rewards after the competition.

So what if the competitors are handsome or pretty? Do you think we deserve to waste our money and time on them and allow them to gain the moment of fame and glory? Most important, why are we helping them to win the top prizes where it does not benefit us at all? Do you think those people will come to you face to face and say a big thank you at the same time giving you a big hug or even reward you for helping him/her? If they do, they would rather not win the competition as they will also go bankrupt or crazy to do those things.

In my opinion, the fact that the organizer organize such events is to find talents where they will further their career in their company. Now, they are actually wasting money and make themselves happy for a moment where they thought those winners will really stay on in the company to help out in the entertainment industry. As you can see, they aren’t much new actors or actresses joining the company. Even if they did, it’s just for a moment like i said earlier on.

Thus, people who really love those stars stars programs so much, please think again. Why do you spend your time and money on those people?
Or rather, why waste your parents’ hard earned money in helping someone whom you do not know in gaining everything that they will gain after winning the competition? Save the trouble save the money. Don’t be so foolish to be involved in such programs.

Alright, i think i will end off here. You can choose to go with me or not. These are just my point of view on the program.

Claim: These are just personal opinions and perception. None of them are for defamatory purposes.
